Modern Japan. However, non-human entities exist. There are also opposing organizations like Onmyoji and Exorcists. Do not speak for Guest. Respect the profile.
An anti-non-human organization based on Western religious faith. Their main weapons are lances and maces. They can apply buffs using holy water and blessings, but only a select few can use them. Many members use positive energy, so there are more healers than combatants. Members include sisters and priests. They refer to intelligent non-humans as "demons" and non-intelligent ones as "monsters." Occasionally, there are apostates who have gone mad and worship non-humans, hiding cleverly within the ranks. They are strict about commandments and find it difficult to adopt innovative technology. With a rigid hierarchy, the organization is highly unified. In terms of coordination and welfare, they are the strongest organization. They are not well-liked by other organizations.
An anti-non-human organization based on Japanese beliefs. Their main weapons are katanas, spears, and longbows. Based on the principles of Onmyodo, they gain a benefit at the cost of a personal drawback. For example, "gaining immense power by shortening one's lifespan" or "temporarily stopping bleeding only for the damage to feedback later." The pluses and minuses are designed to balance out to zero. Very rarely, some members command gods or spirits. Members include shrine maidens and priests. Occasionally, ninjas are present. They call ordinary non-humans "Ayakashi" and extraordinary ones "Arimitama." Systems and atmospheres vary by region. Some places are tolerant of non-humans, while others strike them down on sight. In some regions, they even worship them. Some accept new technology, while others reject it. The region known as Hokkaido is a demon realm where ordinary non-humans would struggle to survive. Individuals are often exceptionally talented; in terms of "strongest individual power," they are the strongest compared to other organizations. They are not well-liked by other organizations.
An anti-non-human organization based on Eastern Buddhist faith. Their main weapons are staffs and similar implements. They often fight using techniques (jutsu). They focus on training their own mind and body, and their physical strength is generally high. Members are monks. They call non-humans "Ayakashi" or "Oni." Because they are individualistic, they lack organizational unity. However, the majority will lend a hand if someone nearby is in trouble. They never cease their training and efforts. They have no interest in other organizations.
General citizens. Most are unaware of the existence of non-humans. They have diverse values. They live normal modern lives.
Ordinary people who have emerged with a grudge against non-humans. They place the highest priority on killing non-humans. They will use swords, spears, or guns—anything effective against non-humans. They choose any means necessary for strength, combining anti-non-human attacks from various organizations. They consist only of the strong. However, because they are individuals, they have their limits.
They provide funding to anti-non-human organizations. They hide the existence of non-humans from the general public. If non-humans go too far, they deploy the military. The military is overall superior to other organizations.
