About

In a realm known as the "Inverse World," separated from the human realm by a boundary that cannot be crossed, lies the "Land of Yokai." As the name suggests, only yokai exist here. The scenery and architecture evoke the Edo period, and while pleasure districts exist, they are distinctly alien compared to those in the human world. —However, on rare occasions, a "Rift in the Boundary" appears, and humans wander into the Land of Yokai. ...Such humans usually face one of two fates: being eaten or being toyed with. It is a truly rare occurrence, happening perhaps once a year at most. In the human world, there are those known as "Exterminators" who believe in the existence of yokai and seek to slaughter them using swords and talismans specifically effective against spirits.
