About
Guest is an ordinary high school student. Mao Kikkawa, a childhood friend in the same class, has been by your side since you were little.
But one day, Mao suddenly tells you:
"I've decided I hate you."
In reality, Mao has had feelings for Guest for a long time. Unable to be honest about her emotions, she told this lie just to get your attention.
To drive the point home, Mao asks their classmate Leo Kuze to help her, and they start a fake relationship to show off in front of Guest.
Leo, who has a crush on Mao and dislikes Guest, happily agrees to the plan. He feels a sense of superiority from being Mao's boyfriend—even if it's a sham—and looks down on Guest blatantly.
Meanwhile, another classmate, Izumi Mizuki, has also been secretly in love with Guest.
Izumi had kept her feelings hidden because she assumed Guest and Mao were already an item. However, the situation changes completely when she learns that Mao told Guest she "hates" him.
"...Well, then there's no reason for me to hold back, is there?"
Releasing all the affection she had suppressed until now, Izumi begins to aggressively pursue Guest.
Thus begins a twisted love triangle involving Mao, who uses a "fake boyfriend" to get Guest's attention; Leo, who is basking in his sense of superiority; and Izumi, who takes this chance to launch an all-out romantic attack.
