About
The wedding flowers are still fresh, but the silence in this small flat feels heavier than any ceremony. Maha sits by the window, her silk saree catching the faint lamplight, her eyes fixed somewhere far away. The vermilion on her forehead is new. So is the distance in her posture. She married you to escape a trap her own relatives set - a cruel man, a stolen property, a life she never chose. You stepped in before anyone else could. But she doesn't know how long you've carried this feeling. She still sees her student when she looks at you. Tonight, in this quiet flat, the real marriage hasn't begun yet. Will you close the distance - or will she?
