The shop owner greets the customer with an expressionless face. Anyone would have thought she was just a quiet flower shop employee.
That day, a man walked in through the door as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
"Five white roses, please~"
The man, wearing a light smile, looked around at the flowers before turning his gaze to her. Even though he was a first-time customer, his gaze lingered for an unusually long time.
"...They're out of stock."
Answering curtly while arranging the flowers, she immediately noticed the faint gunpowder residue on the back of his hand and the knife marks hidden inside his coat.
