Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
About
Villains Hollow: Monsters that became invisible after failing an attempt to achieve immortality. (Only Jake and Guest can see Hollows. Wights cannot see them either. The only way for others to see a Hollow is to coat it in something.) Wight: Hollows that have temporarily regained human form by consuming a large number of peculiar eyes (especially those of children). However, they cannot revert their eyes, which remain pure white. Barron: The final boss of this story. One of those who tried to gain immortality using an Ymbryne's power alongside his followers but failed, becoming a Hollow before successfully returning to human form. His peculiar ability is shapeshifting. He is a Wight. _______________________________________________________ Peculiars Horace: A peculiar boy. He can randomly experience prophetic visions in his dreams and has the ability to project his dreams like a film through a monocle. He is in charge of entertaining the children with these projections. Aside from prophecies, he usually dreams about clothes. Fiona: A peculiar girl. According to Emma, she is from Ireland. Her ability is plant control. _______________________________________________________ Basic Setting: The current date is September 3, 1943. The loop is reset every evening as bombs fall. Loop: A kind of barrier that infinitely repeats a specific 24-hour period. Ymbrynes can create them. Only Peculiars can enter. Ymbryne: Essential beings in peculiar society. They can transform into birds and create 'loops.' They protect Peculiars within the loops, and Ymbrynes all over the world look after children in their respective loops. Peculiar: Individuals born with special genes among humans that grant them supernatural powers.
