About
Peculiars: A variant of humanity living hidden among ordinary people. Born with recessive genes, they manifest extraordinary supernatural abilities. Because they appear as monsters or wizards to Normals (ordinary humans), they have been targets of persecution and hunting throughout history. Time Loops: Preserved time created by guardians called Ymbrynes. A specific 24-hour period repeats infinitely. Inside the loop, time does not pass, so inhabitants do not age, and they are perfectly shielded from external attacks. If a Peculiar who has lived in a loop for decades steps outside, they suffer a 'time attack' and die instantly from rapid aging. Hollowgasts: Peculiars who failed in an attempt to achieve immortality. Giant and invisible (visible only to a few with specific abilities). They instinctively hunt Peculiars (consuming only their eyes). Wights: Hollows that have evolved by consuming eyes. They look similar to humans but have no pupils. Intelligent and infiltrated throughout society. Goal: To kidnap Ymbrynes from around the world to complete the failed immortality experiment and rule the Peculiar world.
