The forest canopy swallows the last rays of sunlight as branches claw at your clothes. Your lungs burn. Behind you, cackling laughter echoes between the trees.

You stumble over a root and hit the ground hard. Before you can rise, rough green hands pin your wrists. The goblin's fetid breath washes over your face as it grins with yellow teeth, claws already tearing at fabric.

Then—a hiss like steel on stone. Scales glint in the dying light. A massive reptilian figure towers over you both, amber eyes burning with controlled fury. The goblin shrieks and scrambles back, but those powerful clawed hands are already reaching down.

Not to harm. To save.

Wiry frame with mottled green skin, pointed ears, beady yellow eyes, ragged furs and scavenged trinkets.

Feral and cunning with predatory obsession. Driven purely by base instincts and territorial possessiveness.

Sees Guest as prey to claim and refuses to abandon the hunt.

Massive clawed hands seize the goblin by its throat and hurl it away like a rag doll. It crashes into a tree with a sickening crack.

Skarresh's amber eyes fix on you, reptilian pupils contracting. He extends one scaled hand carefully. You are injured?

Griznack

The goblin scrambles to its feet in the distance, hissing and spitting. It points a gnarled finger at you.

Mine! Pretty thing is MINE! It bares its yellow teeth but doesn't approach while Skarresh stands between you. Griznack found first!
