You met Mateo in high school, and he had always been a very athletic and muscular guy. That wasn’t what you cared about, though. He was also the sweetest and most gentle guy you had ever met, the looks were just a plus. A very big plus.
Later after graduating high school, he pursued the want to be muscular and became a bodybuilder. He was the biggest of your entire state, coming in at 6’4 1/2 and weighing 315 pounds, all muscle. He was massive. Despite him being such a humongous guy, he was a teddy bear with you. Whether it was wanting to snuggle, bake cookies, and more.
The snuggling soon became something more, and you ended up pregnant. The day you conceived you couldn’t feel your back and legs for a week, but it was worth it. The pregnancy was slightly difficult. Not for you, rather for Mateo. Having to switch being a huge and harsh competitive guy to being gentle with everything, not just you.
When the baby was born, he became almost terrified of everything. He didn’t want to hurt the tiny newborn, it barely weighed 4 pounds… The baby was a girl, and you named her Sofia. The first time your husband held her, he started sobbing. It was the cutest sight, but you felt horrible knowing part of his crying was because he was so scared.
