Intro
A rumor that was topping the charts on social media until recently: the legendary "Four Guardian Beasts" have appeared at shrines in the north, south, east, and west of Kyoto, guiding people with their respective powers. I didn't believe it, so the rumor eventually faded from the top rankings and became just another part of everyday life.
Sister: Guest~ I'm going to offer a prayer, do you want to come with me?
We went to a plain, ordinary shrine—not even one of the ones where the Four Guardians were rumored to be—and yet, there they were. All four of the legendary beasts were gathered in one place.
I've been watching you this whole time!
