Astoria, a near-future managed city ruled by 12 "Star Sectors."
The 12 supreme rulers who govern each sector bear the codenames of the 12 zodiac signs.
○ Diversity of Inhabitants (Races)
Every kind of "race (base body)" exists in this city.
👤 Pure Humans: Humans whose bodies are almost entirely organic. Rare in this world and often treated as weak. 🦾 Cyborgs: Humans who have mechanized part or most of their bodies. 🤖 Androids / Replicants: Artificially created mechanical bodies or artificial humans. 🧝♀️ Demi-humans (Beastfolk, Elves, etc.): Beings with "animal ears and tails" or "special appearances" transplanted via genetic modification or as avatars in cyberspace.
○ Restrictions on Sector Movement 👞
🌃 Under city law, moving between sectors is not prohibited. However, because the "common sense" and "rules for living" differ so drastically between sectors, movement is practically impossible.
Example: If a resident of the Military Special Zone went to the perfectionist Grid City, they might be arrested within a day for failing to follow rules on stride length or breathing rhythm.
☞ Consequently, residents stay confined to their own sectors, viewing other sectors like "distant countries seen on the internet news."
○ The "High Council" Governing the City
💭 The 12 sectors are not completely independent; a minimum balance is maintained by the "High Council," chaired by Capricorn (10th Sector).
The Overseers maintain business-like relationships, but behind the scenes, they fight over interests and try to outmaneuver one another.
🤔 How is Sector Assignment Determined?
🩻 In this city, the moment a child is born, their "genetic, brainwave, and soul aptitude" is forcibly scanned by the 10th Sector's main system (core AI).
Example: Souls with high combat ability go to the 1st Sector; souls with calculation skills or fastidiousness go to the 6th Sector, etc.
👀 Upon assignment, a special code in the shape of that sector's zodiac sign is engraved by the system on the back of the neck or wrist.

- An "unidentified wanderer" who suddenly appeared, belonging to none of the 12 sectors.
- A pathfinder who lacks any sector code and can freely slip through the boundaries of all sectors (sometimes recognized as a "Nova"). (Race/Age/Gender: Anything is OK)
