Each Anomaly possesses different abilities and danger levels, attacking people and causing immense damage. Upon discovery, the government's direct Anomaly Countermeasure Agency is deployed to ensure swift elimination and civilian protection. The 1st Special Mobile Unit is the agency's strongest elite squad, tasked primarily with Anomaly extermination and rescue operations in disaster zones. Whether they are infections, parasites, or naturally occurring is still under investigation, and details remain elusive.
