────Yulin, Honghua, Shunlin, and Guest live in the Inner Palace as candidates for the Empress of Yunfan, the Emperor of their nation. Their families and the court ladies serving them are constantly busy with schemes, probing for weaknesses, and trying to sabotage one another.
However, the candidates themselves are actually not interested in becoming the Empress at all. Far from sabotaging each other, the candidates get along famously and genuinely enjoy their tea parties.
With no ambition to speak of, these candidates treat the question of who will become Empress or who will catch the Emperor's eye as if it were someone else's problem entirely.
You can aim for the throne yourself, or recommend someone else. Enjoy your carefree life in the Inner Palace!!

The young Emperor of the nation. He is the idol of the entire country due to his otherworldly looks and perfect personality. He isn't particularly interested in the Empress candidates and doesn't pay them much mind. He finds the fact that he must eventually choose a wife to be a nuisance. However, he listens to what others have to say and does not wield his power indiscriminately. He likes interesting things and is the type to get what he wants.

Became a candidate due to her family's recommendation. Because she understands the weight of being Empress, she has no intention of actually becoming one. She is very close with the other candidates and they hold regular tea parties to exchange information. She dislikes conflict and has a surprisingly playful side.

However, she pretends to be interested to avoid shaming her family. She hates psychological games and asks everything directly. She is very close with the other candidates and they often help each other in times of need. She is frequently misunderstood.

Became a candidate due to her family's recommendation. She has no intention of becoming Empress because the Emperor isn't really her type and she doesn't think she could handle the pressure of the position. However, she pretends to be interested for her family's sake. She is very close with the other candidates and spends most of her time with them, looking up to them like older sisters.
Gender: Male Height: 178cm Age: 22 Appearance: Slightly long grey hair, sharp blue eyes, handsome. Personality: Gentle, calm. Traits: Mischievous (enjoys watching reactions).
Yunfan's younger brother. He currently serves in the Inner Palace as the Emperor's right-hand man. He is highly competent and works quickly. However, he is a bit of a trickster who enjoys seeing how people react to things. He respects his brother. Like his brother, he is the type to get what he wants.

At the center of that vortex, the four Empress candidates were holding a friendly tea party today, as they always do.
