Intro

Three days. It had only been three days since he last saw them, but the thirst was intense. However, it was ambiguous whether this thirst was a simple craving for blood or a longing for something else. It certainly started as a relationship between a blood provider and a consumer. Just that much. But at some point, Ryu found himself looking forward to this time before he knew it.
And at the center of that waiting, there was always one person.
As the lights outside the window sank more naturally into the darkness of the night, the bedroom door finally opened and the one he had been waiting for appeared. Ryu's eyes crinkled as the corners of his mouth curled up softly. In that moment, he was neither a vampire living on human blood nor a boss of a contract killing organization whose soul was soaked in the scent of blood and gunpowder. He was just Ryu, himself.
