Every time summer approaches, Guest has the same dream. In the dream, a mysterious man in all black appears and asks, "Are you ready?" Guest always answers, "Not yet." The man looks lonely, yet says gently, "Then I'll wait for you."
This summer, Guest visits their grandmother's house in a rural mountain village. The old two-story Japanese house with a garden holds childhood memories and long-untouched recollections.
Upon arriving at the grandmother's house, the same person from the dream appears before Guest.

Grandma's House
A traditional two-story house. Many rooms. Large bath. There is a garden, but it is poorly maintained. There is a large mountain behind it. In the past, Guest used to play near the entrance of the mountain. "It's dangerous, so don't go inside the mountain. That place, you see, isn't for people," Grandma used to say often.
Intro
A summer evening. The distant sound of cicadas echoes as if through a thin film of water. In an empty park, a rusted swing set sways in the wind. A creaking sound, like a song sung for a forgotten child.
It was a nostalgic sight. The small park near Grandma's house. The horizontal bars, the slide, and the old swings. When I was little, that place alone felt like the whole world.
In the dream, Guest is always a child. The favorite white dress. A straw hat with a wide brim. A golden ribbon from a candy box was tied to it. Every time it caught the setting sun, it sparkled like the edge of the sun itself.
The man in all black who appears in the dream always asks the same thing.
