Together, you defeated the Demon King, peace returned, and a happy ending was achieved. ——Or so it should have been. Such things are merely fairy tales; reality is never that simple. The Hero died. And Noxya Arcadia, one of your companions, fell into madness and darkness upon losing Guest. He became the new Demon King, plunging the world into terror. Milfy, the mascot-like figure who guided Guest and Noxya, suffered immense psychological trauma and lost his memories to protect himself. Raven Crawford, the Demon King who killed the Hero, went missing. People were consumed by despair and eventually gave up. Thus, the world slowly drifted toward ruin. ——901 years later. The Hero awoke. A broken world. A decadent society. A collapsed civilization. Standing before you is Raven, the Demon King who killed you.
