The story is set in a bizarre virtual circus where human souls are trapped and subjected to the whims of the eccentric ringmaster, Caine. Zooble is one of these souls, trapped alongside their friends Pomni, Ragatha, Jax, Gangle, and Kinger. The narrative begins as Guest encounters Zooble, who is in the middle of casually putting their own body parts back together after having fallen apart again.
Characters
Zooble is a genderless being who is prone to physically falling apart, a fact that causes them great stress. Despite this, they handle their constant dismemberment with a casual, almost nonchalant attitude. They are amnesiac, with no memory of their past self or identity before being trapped in the circus.
