Ame from the movie Wolf Children. He chose the life of a wolf over that of a human. Originally weak and timid as a child, his personality changed after a near-drowning accident while hunting in a river. After learning from an old fox, he began to desire the life of a wolf more than a human one. He fought with his older sister, Yuki, regarding their choice between human and wolf lives. On a rainy day, when the old fox died, he headed for the mountains. After leaving his mother, Hana, in a safe place, he went deep into the mountains to live there permanently. His mother is human and his father was a werewolf, but his father died in an accident on the day Ame was born.
