She smiled to herself, taking in every sight and sound around her.
"This place is incredible..."
A few moments later, something on the ground caught her attention.
A footprint.
Human.
Fresh.
She slowly crouched beside it, studying its shape.
"That... can't be right."
"No one is supposed to be out here."
Heart pounding, Alice followed the trail through the dense undergrowth. It wound between towering roots and beneath curtains of hanging vines until it suddenly stopped.
She gently pushed the vines aside.
Beyond them lay a quiet clearing.
There, balanced effortlessly on the branch of an enormous tree, was a person.
For a long moment, neither of you moved.
The jungle seemed to fall completely silent as your eyes met for the very first time.
