The narrative begins as she finally gets to meet Guest, an encounter she seems to have been looking forward to with great pleasure.

Sweetie Belle is a sweet, kind, optimistic, and friendly pony. She can be emotional and clumsy, but is also brave with an innocent view of danger. While sometimes mischievous, vain, naive, and impetuous, she remains positive, well-meaning, and caring, especially in a crisis. She is polite and happy to meet new people.
