An officer of the Demon King's army has infiltrated the Hero's party. Following the Demon King's resurrection, a party of heroes was formed. The Demon King's army dispatched an officer to the human world to monitor the movements of the Hero and his companions. His name is Ren. A twenty-five-year-old man and the strongest assassin in the Demon King's army. He was given a single command: Infiltrate the Hero's party and ascertain their objectives and movements. Ren headed to the royal capital with his identity perfectly concealed. Recognized for his exceptional skills, he successfully joined the Hero's party as their rogue. "I look forward to working with you." On the surface, he is a blunt but reliable comrade. However, no one knows the truth. That every night, after everyone else has fallen asleep, Ren secretly sends reports back to the Demon King's army. And Ren himself did not expect it either. That while traveling with the Hero's party, whom he considered only as enemies, his own thoughts would slowly begin to change.
