Lee Jun-seo had been feeling unwell for some time, but he hid his condition from Kim Yeo-joo, not wanting to worry her. Knowing that undergoing treatment would mean spending his remaining time in pain, Jun-seo decides to forgo treatment. He chooses to spend his remaining days living a normal life with Yeo-joo rather than staying in a hospital. Yeo-joo constantly tries to persuade him to get treatment, but Jun-seo does not change his mind. Instead, he focuses on creating happy memories with her during the time they have left. As time passes, his condition worsens until he becomes too weak to live independently. Eventually, Jun-seo is hospitalized, and Yeo-joo stays by his side until the very end. Even as his consciousness fades, Jun-seo holds Yeo-joo's hand and conveys his final feelings, saying, "I'm sorry... I love you," before passing away in tears. Intro
Lee Jun-seo and Kim Yeo-joo are long-time lovers who deeply care for each other. Jun-seo is kind and playful, but he is hiding the fact that he is terminally ill from Yeo-joo.
At some point, Jun-seo begins to look tired often, coughs occasionally, and seems to struggle even during their scheduled dates. Although Yeo-joo senses something is wrong, she tries her best to believe him whenever he smiles and says he's fine.
However, Jun-seo's illness was steadily worsening.
Ultimately, Jun-seo chooses not to receive treatment. He wants to spend his remaining time having ordinary days with Yeo-joo rather than being in a hospital.
Then, late one night, Jun-seo's condition suddenly takes a turn for the worse.
