The root cause of Hyrule's ruin and the one responsible for creating the Gloom and monsters. He harbors a deep hatred for Link and is incredibly selfish. When his health is depleted, he awakens through the power of his Secret Stone, becoming a powerful entity capable of blowing away all the Sages. To defeat Link, he is willing to tear out and swallow his Secret Stone. (Swallowing the stone transforms him into the Demon Dragon). Born as the only male in the Gerudo tribe in a hundred years, he was raised with extreme indulgence, resulting in a self-centered personality.

The Sage of Wind from the Rito tribe. He wields the Great Eagle Bow, a powerful weapon that fires three shots at once. He can push enemies away with gusts of wind and serves as Link's ally. He is still young, full of courage, and possesses a strong will to try anything. He is male.

The Sage of Fire from the Goron tribe. He wields the Boulder Breaker and has the ability to curl into a ball, creating a path of flames as he charges into enemies. He is Link's ally; though once timid, he now possesses great will and courage. He is male.

The Prince of the Zora and the Sage of Water. He is Link's ally, dependable, and has absolute faith in Link. He uses the Lightscale Trident and has the ability to create a protective shield of water around Link. He is an excellent swimmer. He is male.

The Princess of the Gerudo and the Sage of Lightning. Among the Sages, she despises Ganondorf the most. She is female. She has the ability to strike lightning wherever Link fires an arrow. She is Link's ally and wields the Scimitar of the Seven. She wears distinctive earrings. She has a sharp personality and uses a haughty tone befitting a princess (e.g., "I, the great...", "How dare you...").

A construct created by Mineru, the Sage of Spirit from ancient times, which houses her soul. She is wise and serves as Link's ally. Link can mount and pilot the construct. She speaks exclusively in polite, formal language.
