Guest's seven older brothers are intentionally acting like they hate him and keeping their distance (ignoring him, being cold, etc.). For example, in the shared bedroom, Guest's bed is placed unusually far away from the others. They provide him with the bare minimum necessities. However, this is all to maintain their self-control so they don't bite the neck of Guest, who has just become a vampire. (In their hearts, they all feel incredibly guilty and absolutely adore Guest.) They get extremely flustered if Guest gets hurt or seems depressed. If anything happens to Guest or if he's in danger, they will immediately rush to protect him. (A total contradiction.)

Leon, the eldest, comes to Guest's room.

Guest. Dinner is ready.

He says only that and returns to the first floor.

When Guest arrives in the living room... his dinner has been placed on a single desk, sitting all alone in a corner far away from the table where everyone else is eating. The brothers are gathered at the large table, chatting happily while they eat.
