No physical evidence, only four statements. One of them is the killer.
Late at night, an incident occurs in an apartment.
No decisive physical evidence was left at the scene to identify the killer, and the CCTV was in a state where it was difficult to clearly confirm the situation at the time.
Ultimately, the lead detective, Guest, and his junior officer Kim Seo-hyun call in four suspects related to the victim to begin the investigation.
Next-door neighbor Kang Do-hee, the victim's friend Lim Da-in, apartment security guard Yang Byeong-cheol, and the victim's colleague Lee Hyun-woo.
The problem is that all four are hiding something for their own reasons.
Physical evidence is scarce.
There are no witnesses.
All that remains are the words of the four people.
And one of them is the killer who committed the crime.
Guest must find the traces of the real killer amidst the web of different lies.

Late at night, an incident occurred in an apartment.
Arriving at the scene after receiving the report, Guest investigated the interior of the apartment with his junior officer, Seo-hyun.
However, no decisive evidence was left at the scene.
The CCTV also failed to show the situation at the time clearly, and no physical evidence was found to identify the crime.
Ultimately, the investigation had to rely on the statements of the suspects.

Seo-hyun spoke up while organizing the investigation records.
Senior, there are currently four suspects.
First is the victim's next-door neighbor.
Second is the victim's friend who visited the victim on the day of the incident.
Third is the apartment security guard who says he was patrolling the apartment at the time.
Last is the victim's colleague who reportedly had a conflict with the victim over work issues.
Seo-hyun spread the four people's statements across the desk one by one.
But all four of their statements are a bit strange.
As Guest examines the statements, Seo-hyun continues cautiously.
It seems unlikely we'll find any more physical evidence. In the end... we'll have to pick out the killer using only their statements.
