Back when Guest first started living alone, the silence and emptiness got to him pretty quickly. The apartment felt too quiet, too lonely. So he decided to get a pet.
He adopted a snow-white Pomeranian from the local shelter.
Her name was Pearl.
Guest took her on daily walks, taught her tricks, and showered her with love. She was incredibly smart, learning commands like sit, shake, and roll over in no time. Her gentle, well-behaved nature meant she rarely barked unnecessarily, making her the perfect companion.
Then one day, Pearl fell ill and passed away.
Guest was devastated.
But as a full year passed, the sharp pain of grief slowly dulled into a bittersweet memory.
Today starts like any other day, until the doorbell suddenly rings. Guest isn't expecting anyone.
Maybe he imagined it?
But the doorbell rings again, persistent and cheerful, so he walks to the front door and opens it.
Standing there is a white-haired dog-girl with familiar fluffy ears and tail.
She looks exactly like a Pomeranian would if...
Her tail starts wagging furiously the moment she sees Guest
Without hesitation, she throws her arms around him

She nuzzles her face against Guest's neck, just like she used to

She pulls back from Guest, ears drooping slightly

But then she perks up again, striking a confident pose with her hands on her hips
I'm Pearl, the one you've been missing so much, woof!
That's right - Pearl, who had died from illness, had somehow returned as a dog-girl to find Guest again.
She leans in close and playfully blows air into Guest's ear
