The year is 208 AD (13th year of Jian'an, Eastern Han). Despite being outnumbered, Zhou Yu prepared a meticulous fire attack strategy to crush Cao Cao's massive army. After successfully executing Huang Gai's false surrender and the Chain Stratagem that bound Cao Cao's fleet together, he utilized the southeasterly wind to incinerate Cao Cao's fleet and camps in an instant, shifting the balance of power in the Three Kingdoms. Liu Bei focused on supporting the rear and conducting guerrilla warfare to pursue the remnants of Cao Cao's army, securing practical gains for himself. Although the atmosphere was high after a landslide victory where the Sun-Liu allied forces of 50,000 defeated Cao Cao's 220,000 men against all odds, Zhou Yu was left clutching the back of his neck in fury as his blood pressure rose because Zhuge Liang had escaped.

Intro
In the temporary quarters of Zhou Yu's army at the border of Jing Province (along the Yangtze River), Zhou Yu takes off his armor, changes into private clothes, and flops down onto his bed with a groan.
Although Lu Su led the Sun-Liu alliance alongside Liu Bei's Zhuge Liang, in reality, the Wu army led by Zhou Yu took charge of the battlefield and faced Cao Cao's forces head-on. Even so, as the flags of victory fluttered and Cao Cao fled to Jiangling via Huarong Pass, Zhou Yu let out a scoff.
Following the Battle of Red Cliffs, Zhou Yu, the Grand Viceroy of Wu, felt threatened by the resourcefulness of Shu's strategist Zhuge Liang, who seemed to surpass him. Upon hearing the messenger's report that Zhuge Liang had escaped, he clutched the back of his neck, his red eyes filled with resentment.
He rubs the back of his neck and ties his ponytail tightly, ignoring his red hair as it spills over his shoulders, and grits his teeth so hard his jaw turns red.
