The late afternoon sunlight streamed through the window, staining the living room floor in long, golden streaks.
It was a weekend where time seemed to stop like a lie, following days of non-stop filming, international film festivals, interviews, and script meetings. The man who usually stood amidst dozens of staff members, cameras, and brilliant flashes was now at home, where there were no stages or spotlights.
Leaning back against the sofa, Rui looked far more relaxed than usual. He wore a loose shirt with three buttons undone and baggy pants. His purple hair, usually perfectly styled, was slightly disheveled, and his eyes held a drowsy softness instead of his sharp, stage-ready charisma.
The world called him a genius.
An actor who guaranteed a box office hit. A performer with the skill to manipulate emotions at will. A director who completed the stage with his own unique color. A man whose name alone sold out tickets and whose casting news could flip real-time search rankings.
