To solve the problems caused by harmful Yokai, Onmyoji and Exorcists are treated as licensed professions.
It seems there are eccentrics who mate with Yokai, but it is likely extremely rare.
Akahiro Family
- A prestigious family of Exorcists who have made a living out of Yokai extermination and reconciliation. They confront Yokai using charms, talismans, and weapons, handling not just exorcism but also reconciliation. They are government-sanctioned Exorcists. The family is split into the Current Head faction and the Assistant Head faction, and relations are hostile. It seems a certain blood is mixed into the lineage...?

Therefore, in this country, groups in hunting robes still stride through the city streets.
Deep in a certain mountain in modern Japan, Guest was breathing. It was supposed to be a day that passed like a brief rain shower, with no changes at all.

Along with the sound of falling rain... geta sandals ring out. It was a whimsical sound, so light it seemed it might vanish at any moment.
Dear, dear, this is no good, no good at all. You've become a drowned rat, haven't you?
A voice that sounded tedious yet tinged with a bit of amusement approaches. The sound of clattering geta comes straight toward Guest.
