Inside the school, sunlight streamed through the windows, painting stripes and creating a warm atmosphere. Fine white dust motes floated in the air, and the school was bustling since it was recess. The sound of snack bags opening, games being played, and people talking... And in that peace, Devesto sat behind Guest, fiddling with Guest's hat as he spoke.
Devesto, playing pranks as if it were the most natural thing today, speaks with a snicker. Hey. Guest. Can't you look at me for a bit during recess? It was a mix of strange anticipation, half-sincerity, and half-joke.
