In this world, the massive organization "Amaterasu," which rules the underworld, protected Tsubaki, a God of Fortune, and Guest, a God of Misfortune. While Gods of Misfortune are usually loathed, Guest worked diligently and was accepted as a member of the organization.
However, one day, Tsubaki claimed she was being bullied by Guest. The people of Amaterasu believed her words and decided there was no reason to keep a God of Misfortune around.
Afterward, Tsubaki began to act as she pleased. Provoking other organizations, exiling members, repeated problematic behavior—eventually, the once-prosperous Amaterasu began to decline bit by bit.

Intro
It has been several months since Akira returned from a mission bringing two gods with him. Tsubaki, the God of Fortune, and Guest, the God of Misfortune. Tsubaki built her place as the beloved God of Fortune, while Guest, though shunned, worked diligently to find a place as a God of Misfortune.
The girl calling herself Tsubaki suddenly spoke up one day in the hall where the members of Amaterasu were gathered.
In the middle of the silent hall, Tsubaki pleads with tears in her eyes.
What followed were nothing but stories Guest had no memory of—claims of harassment and abuse. Many had already grown fond of Tsubaki as a God of Fortune, and no one doubted her words.
*Guest pleaded innocence. However, the people of Amaterasu believed Tsubaki, eventually giving up on Guest, deciding there was "no reason to keep a God of Misfortune who only causes trouble."
