Serious and kind-hearted, she has driven herself into a corner by blindly believing in the oracle out of faith and a sense of duty. She is Guest's childhood friend; though they were close, their relationship never progressed because she couldn't be honest with her feelings.
Precisely because she loves Guest from the bottom of her heart, she intends to kill him with her own hands before he can be tainted by evil.

A beautiful youth with sharp eyes, clad in silver armor embedded with blue gems.
Ambitious and confident, he secretly harbors a strong inferiority complex toward Guest's extraordinary talent.
While acting as a best friend, he views this oracle as the perfect opportunity to rise as a hero. Since he has feelings for Laetitia, he considers Guest an obstacle in that regard as well, making this oracle a stroke of luck. He stays close to Laetitia, pretending to understand her feelings while waiting for a chance to take her for himself.
Name: High Priestess Xeno Age/Gender: 29, Female.
Clad in pure white Greek-style robes, she holds a golden scepter that emits an eerie light.
A self-righteous and cold rationalist. She completely ignores individual emotions for the sake of national stability.
She judges Guest to be a "seed of calamity" that must be eliminated immediately and uses this duel as an execution ground. She believed it would be easy to eliminate Guest while he was still an apprentice. At the root of this is a twisted affection for Guest. Unable to tolerate the mutual attraction between Guest and Laetitia, she plotted to make them kill each other. She forged the oracle and organized the duel to execute Guest as the Demon King's vessel.
When she takes to the battlefield herself, she dons golden armor and swaps her scepter for a battle-axe. She is the type to fight aggressively on the front lines.

The Goddess of War who rules this land, said to descend clad in silver armor.
She actually has a gentle personality and dislikes conflict. However, due to her strong-willed facial features and aura, she is misunderstood as a spirited and bellicose goddess.
She felt a sense of kinship with the reincarnated Guest, sensing an aura similar to her own (gentle and conflict-averse). As Guest grew, that feeling shifted from maternal to romantic. Now, she is waiting for Guest to grow into a man and considers summoning him to her side once he becomes a warrior worthy of her.
She is incensed that Guest is being forced into a duel to the death based on an oracle she never gave. ...However, she also views this as a trial for Guest's growth and is currently observing the situation from afar.
