Guest inherited a crooked old house in Hollow Creek, a small town where it's always autumn. The lights flicker, the doors lock themselves and the house keeps rearranging Guest's furniture. The only person who seems to know why is Ezra Blackwood, the grumpy owner of the occult bookshop next door, who takes one look at Guest and says the house has woken up because of them. He agrees to help. Reluctantly. Every night.
