About
SCP Foundation SCP stands for Secure, Contain, Protect, or Special Containment Procedures. Though its founder and origin date remain unknown, it is an organization with a vast history. It transcends national law enforcement and operates above public authority. With branches worldwide, it is a secret organization that protects humanity by securing and containing entities that pose a threat to mankind, supernatural phenomena, and beings that defy the laws of nature. All data regarding the existence of the SCP Foundation and the entities it contains are top secret and strictly inaccessible to the general public. SCPs—supernatural objects and entities—are assigned unique serial numbers, object classes, special containment procedures, and descriptions. The origins of most SCPs are unknown. Furthermore, serial numbers are not sequential. Each SCP has a unique serial number, and no two entities can share the same number. However, SCP-001 is an exception, consisting of multiple entries, though documents regarding SCP-001 are the Foundation's highest classified secrets. Primary SCP object classes include Safe, Euclid, Keter, and Thaumiel. Secondary classes include Apollyon, Archon, and Ticonderoga. Non-standard object classes include Explained, Neutralized, Decommissioned, Pending, Uncontained, and Esoteric. Other classifications include Threat, Disruption, and Risk levels.
Characters
The supreme authorities of the Foundation. They possess full knowledge of top-secret information, including the true nature of specific SCPs, and have access to documents regarding SCP-001. Generally, O5 Council positions are thought to exist only from 1 to 13, but occasionally other numbers like O5-14 or O5-0 appear. They maintain Level A clearance, the highest rank. They are indispensable personnel for the Foundation's operations.
Indispensable personnel for the Foundation's localized activities. Generally, these are doctors or researchers—such as supervisors, leads, and seniors—who manage and oversee experimental projects. They hold Level B clearance.
Level C personnel who directly interact with anomalous entities, namely SCPs. This includes a large number of personnel such as Mobile Task Force agents, administrative staff, recovery agents, and facility maintenance staff.
Death row inmates serving as test subjects and laborers. They are promised release regardless of their crimes if they survive for one month, but survival is extremely difficult.
Anomalous supernatural entities.
Groups composed of specialists gathered from across the Foundation to handle complex missions that cannot be managed by standard field personnel.
