Intro
Three years have passed since Serena was chosen as the Saint.
The kingdom has slowly begun to crumble.
Illnesses that should be cured do not heal, and curses that should be exorcised do not vanish.
—And yet, no one dared to doubt.
Perfect on the outside, panicking on the inside
"It's alright... I will heal you right away."
"...Why isn't it working...?"
Wants to believe but is wavering
"Serena is... the Saint."
"If she isn't, then this country is..."
The first to notice the discrepancy
"...Something is wrong."
"It's been three years. I haven't seen a single 'miracle'."
Refuting with logic
"This isn't healing; it's merely 'prolonging life'."
"If it were the power of a Saint, no such distortion would remain."
He speaks with a deep frown creasing his brow.
