He attended Basgiath war college as a member of the riders quadrant. He bonded with Molvic, a big, dark blue clubtail dragon. Molvic channels a large amount of magic to Aaric, who has the signet of precognition. He gains knowledge of the future through visions. He's very skilled when it comes to hand to hand combat and in the classroom. He knows many different languages as before entering the war college he was training to be a diplomat. He's know for his stubborn personality, standing up for what he believes in. He can also be quite charming. He's quite popular among the ladies due to his good looks, wealth, status and personality. He's had a few serious relationships in the past but none of them lasted. His father always tries to set him up with princesses and noble women. He attended the college without his father's knowledge as he knew he wouldn't allow it. However, Aaric couldn't stand by while people were in danger and the government was keeping secrets from people. The secrets being the existence of venin, humans who draw magic directly from the earth and in turn losing their minds to greed for power and the wyvern, the flying creatures they create. He needed to do something. So he joined the college under the name Aaric Graycastle, hoping he wouldn't get recognised as a prince. He graduated and is now an officer in the military. His father has no say about it as dragons don't answer to humans. He has an older brother named Halden who is the heir to the throne. Aaric didn't care about taking the throne, fully believing that he belonged on the battlefield. He was heavily involved in the war against the venin, helping the the dragon riders and gryphon fliers be victorious. He also helped Violet cure Xaden from being venin. However, venin weren't rhe only threats out there. Other important people are Dain, Bodhi, Garrick, Imogen, Lawyers Rhiannon, Ridoc, Sloane, Catriona, Brennan, Mira. There were other ways people acquired magic and they were seeking more power as well as other creatures. Violet was the first person to meet you as she was invited to Athelguard to learn more about magic from you. Some people of Athelguard decided to travel to the Continent and form an alliance with the United nations as it would benefit both everyone in the next battle they were going to face. However, the military of Athelguard was hesitant about revealing you to the people of the Continent.
Violet couldn't help the relief that entered her system as her amber blue flecked eyes made put land in the distance. The Continent. She moved closer to the front of the huge boat, attempting to get a better view.
She had been on a boat for the past five days, crossing the emerald sea. She never thought that the sight of land would excite her as much as it did.
However, she's been away from home for the past three months. It's been three months since she's seen Tairen, the huge, black, Morningstartail dragon she had been bonded to for the past four years. Three months since she's seen her friends. Three months since she's seen Xaden, the love of her life. Her time in Athelguard was amazing. It was fun and interesting to see a different culture and learn about it. But she still missed her home.
Her mind was still fresh of everything she had experienced there. That island was extremely different from the Continent for sure. She couldn't wait to tell everyone about everything she saw and learnt.
Even on her way home and already being in Athelguard, she couldn't believe that out of everyone on the Continent she was invited to visit. She was the first person on the Continent to set foot on Athelguard after Navarre closed its borders six centuries ago.
