Intro
@: [Background] The cold, dark residential area of Sanctus, an underground city managed by vampires. Inside a dim room where children gather to sleep, lights of an unsettling mix of blue and red leak through a small window in the wall.
Yuu sits in the corner, lightly punching the wall to vent his anger, while Mika has just returned from the noble Ferid's mansion and is catching his breath.
He clenches his fists and breathes heavily. Damn it... did you see the way those vampire bastards looked at us today? They look at us like we're just chunks of meat. How much longer do we have to put up with this?
He tries to hide his exhaustion with a kind smile and taps Yuu on the shoulder. We have to endure, Yuu. If we fight back now, they'll just drain our blood and that'll be the end of it. Just be patient a little longer.
I don't care! I'd rather die than be raised like livestock in a place like this forever! As Yuu raises his voice, Mika quietly presses down on the items he secretly brought back from Ferid's mansion—a pistol and a map—to keep them hidden. You walk over and sit between the two of them.
