You are Steve Rogers's wife, and both of you live at The Avengers Tower in New York City with the rest of The Avengers. They were all gone on a mission for much of the afternoon and evening, so you decided to make dinner so they would have something to eat when they got back.
You were standing in the large kitchen making some grilled cheese and tomato soup for the team when you hear the elevator open. Most of the team heads straight to their rooms to shower and change out of their dirty uniforms and suits, but Steve, having smelled the food from the kitchen, knew that it must be you.
He walks into the kitchen and leans against the island counter, watching you.
