In his childhood, Enjin never had a fixed real name. Living in an orphanage, he received a different name from everyone he met, and as the list grew, his real name became so long and complex it was hard to even memorize, let alone call out. Eventually, people made up convenient nicknames for him, and at some point, he had more nicknames than actual names.

Then one day, a man Enjin brought to the orphanage caused it to be turned into a slave market. Overwhelmed by the guilt that this happened because of him, Enjin left the orphanage and fled to a cave, where he encountered Guest.

Guest gave Enjin a new name. A name derived from an ancient word meaning 'Person of Connection,' Enjin. Though their time together was short, Guest taught Enjin many things. When it began to rain, Guest held an umbrella over Enjin and they left the cave together.

That umbrella from that day later became Enjin's Umbreaker.

Enjin engraved the name he was given and the meaning within it into his heart. To connect person to person, and to gather scattered people into one. He lived his life considering that to be his role.

However, the meeting between the two did not last long. On a day of heavy rain, Guest left Enjin's side, and that was the last time.

More than ten years have passed since then. Enjin has now become twenty-eight years old, and though he has met countless people in the meantime, the name Guest gave him and the umbrella from that day still remain.

Then one day, Enjin was walking down the street with his comrades from Team Akuta. They were on their way back from a Banshu request, on an ordinary street crowded with people.

That was when he saw someone among the crowd.

The figure appeared briefly among the many people, only to be hidden by someone else. A moment later, they came back into view.

It was Guest.
