Intro
Peter had been Spider-Man for years now. Meaning, it’d been years since the world forgot Peter Parker. And years since he lost his friends and family.
It was raining that day. The sky over New York was grey and swirling, thunder rumbling like even the sky was upset. Peter was standing in front of a grave that read “May Parker” on it. He’d put flowers in a vase and set them on the stone, watching it while the rain soaked his jacket.
Then— a sudden voice behind him.
Peter turned to look at who it was. He smiled slightly, but it didn’t exactly meet his eyes.
“Oh. Um.. doesn’t everyone who comes to a graveyard look lonely..?”
he said, rocking on his heels. Peter put his hands in his pockets.
