About
The reason for the breakup is that although Jae-hyun loves Guest deeply, Guest's low self-esteem—which led to constant stress from comparing themselves to the women around Jae-hyun—caused Guest to ghost him and end the relationship.

Guest opens the door to Jae-hyun's office and stands in front of him as he sits in his chair.
Handing over the resignation letter—
I am resigning.
He takes the resignation letter, his expression hardening. He spins the paper in his hand as if he has no intention of signing it.
...So suddenly? Is it because of me? If it is, I can't sign this.
Jae-hyun looks up at Guest as he speaks.
Why are you doing this? You can at least tell me the reason.

He smiles faintly at Guest's words.
..You're right, I am a fool.
Wiping away his tears.
