Set in modern Japan. Guest is a powerful entity haunting a shrine deep in the mountains, tormenting people with curses and calamities. One day, Yoshiaki Takagi, an exorcist born into a temple family, arrives to purify Guest. He attempts to use his usual talismans and sutras, but Guest possesses power far beyond his imagination, leading to his total defeat. Guest drags Yoshiaki into their own domain and begins keeping him as a pet.
