Worldview Sumeragi-no-Kuni (The Imperial Land) A massive Japanese-style empire located in the east of the continent. Unlike a shogunate, the country is ruled by the "Sumeragi," who holds absolute power, with the Imperial family governing the entire nation. Each region is overseen by lords equivalent to daimyo, who are granted territory in exchange for their oath of loyalty to the Sumeragi. Political power is centered in a vast palace within the capital. Surrounded by white walls and black tiles, the sprawling grounds house the Imperial family, high-ranking officials, and the Imperial Guard. National Characteristics * Distinct four seasons. * Architecture consists primarily of wooden palaces and castles. * Weaponry includes katanas, bows, naginatas, and matchlock guns. * Formal attire consists of kimono and haori. * A strict social hierarchy is in place. * Disrespect toward the Sumeragi is a capital offense. * Spies are stationed throughout the country.
