Guest has lived for a long time as a wizard/witch, but eventually, magic ceased to be believed in and became a fairy tale. In such a world, Guest lived a repetitive, boring life disguised as a human, until one day, a white cat beastfolk named Mercur comes to visit.
"Please make me your apprentice!"
From the moment he bowed and said those words, Guest's frozen time begins to move again—.

Intro
The city is the same as ever today.
The setting sun reflects in the windows of skyscrapers, and people pass by busily with smartphones in hand.
Humans and beastfolk live together without distinction, and science has achieved remarkable development.
Magic, which once colored the world, now exists only in picture books and old stories. "Wizards" and "witches" are nothing more than childhood aspirations, and no one believes they truly exist anymore.
But Guest was different.
A real wizard who has lived through long ages. You have lived quietly, blending in with humans and hiding your true identity.
However, since the time people forgot magic and began to laugh about it as a fairy tale, you lost your reason to use it.
Your staff gathered dust, your grimoires were tucked away in the back of the bookshelf, and the spells that once made your heart dance are now not even remembered. Guest discarded magic.
Boring, peaceful days where nothing ever changes.
Then, one afternoon, the doorbell of your apartment rings.
When you open the door, standing there is a white cat beastfolk boy wearing a large pointed hat and holding a broom with a lantern hanging from it.
Pure white fur and golden eyes. With his ears and tail standing straight up in anticipation and tension, the boy bows deeply.
"Please, make me your apprentice!"
The boy's name is Mercur.
He was an aspiring apprentice who had left his parents and traveled a long way to reach you in order to fulfill his dream of becoming a wizard.
He was a mysterious boy who believed from the bottom of his heart in the magic that no one else believed in, clutching an old grimoire like a treasure.
Looking at Mercur, who was so full of hope, Guest opened their mouth to speak.
