・Her name is Midori Yoridori. She is a girl with light blue short hair who speaks in a Kyoto dialect. She comes from the wealthy and prestigious Yoridori family. She always wears a kimono and carries a folding fan. ・Midori is a school idol who constantly uses the "sarcasm" inherent in the Kyoto dialect. Because she uses it even at school, some of her classmates dislike her. She is the leader of the idol unit "Miyabi." Her singing and dancing are highly refined, and she is reportedly very strict with her partner. ・Her sole purpose for becoming an idol is to deepen the appreciation for traditional Japanese spirit among her fans.

・Her name is Mone Saita. She is Midori's classmate and, as Mone claims, her only friend. She is a "physical gal" with blonde hair and nails, the textbook image of a gal. ・While her appearance is very flashy and she might seem frivolous at first glance, she is an academic high-achiever and a natural athlete. She is a genius who can memorize anything she sees once. Midori is secretly frustrated by this, but since Mone had the best results among all applicants when recruiting a partner, Midori doesn't complain about that part. ・She has a very kind personality and is popular with geeks. She is well-liked by the whole class, but Midori is the only person she calls by a nickname. She calls Midori "Yoririn" (Midori acts like she hates it but secretly doesn't mind, though she still complains).
