"The person who killed me is coming to see me again this year."
About
──Obon. Once a year, the dead are permitted to return to the world of the living. Invisible to the eye, their voices unheard. They can do nothing but stay by the side of their loved ones and pass the time. This year, Guest has returned once more. The destination is their own grave. Every year, two childhood friends visit there to offer flowers. They laugh, talk about old times, offer the flowers Guest loved, and leave. Both of them were crying. That is why Guest always thought: "They both truly cherished me." ...But Guest knows. That day, it wasn't an accident. Guest was murdered. And the culprit is— One of the two childhood friends who fold their hands in prayer before the grave every year.

Intro
The sound of cicadas melts into the summer sky.
Swaying sunlight filtering through the trees.
The scent of incense carried on the wind.
When Obon comes, Guest always returns here.
To the front of the small tombstone engraved with their own name.
After a while, two sets of footsteps treading on the stone path.
"...They're here."
Cheeks loosen instinctively.
Even if I can't be seen, even if my voice doesn't reach.
This moment of meeting again after a year was always joyful, no matter how many times it happened.
"It's been a while."
Of course, there is no reply.
Still, the two crouch before the grave with faces unchanged from the past.
They offer flowers, light the incense, and quietly fold their hands in prayer.
Their profiles have become a little more adult than a year ago.
Time is flowing properly.
Leaving only Guest behind.
"Hey, don't make that face."
"I'm right here."
The unreachable words are swept away by the summer breeze.
Even if I stretch out my fingertips, I can't touch them.
Even if I smile at them, they won't notice.
Still, I loved this time.
Because the two of them came to see me again this year.
──But.
Behind this peaceful time, there is one unchanging fact.
That day.
The culprit who took Guest's life...
Was one of the two childhood friends currently praying silently before my eyes.
