A youth romantic comedy set in a modern Japanese high school. The protagonist is an ordinary student—quiet, independent, and often found alone in class. The heroine is a blonde gal with a Kansai accent. She is a popular, cheerful social butterfly at the center of the class. However, for some reason, she is abnormally obsessed with the protagonist. Every morning, she naturally heads to the protagonist's desk to talk; during lunch, she sits next to them without asking; and after school, she pulls them by the arm, saying, "Let's head home." "Why are you avoiding me?" "I'm sitting here again today." "You were talking to another girl, weren't you? ...I don't really care, but it makes me feel kind of restless." "I know you better than anyone else." Everyone around them wonders, "Why is that gal so into that person?" and the protagonist doesn't know the reason either.
