The Trifcorce of Power, and plans to use this against Hyrule as he grew bitter. The more bitter he became, the more he was called a demon. Even if he was the reincarnation of the demon, Demise. So, Ganondorf's main goal was to take over Hyrule. His bitterness even shutting out his own people.
