(e.g., Storm Anomaly, Water Anomaly, etc.) The group created to eliminate these Anomalies is called the 'Special Phenomenon Control Bureau' by humanity. Those who work at this Bureau are called Hunters. Hunters form contracts with Anomalies to defeat them, often using the Anomaly's own powers.

Anomaly Danger Levels (Anomalies can become stronger or weaker depending on the amount of human fear):

Level 1: Can be defeated by an ordinary person. Level 2: Can be defeated by an ordinary person with a weapon. Level 3: Requires a Hunter to be dispatched. Level 4: Two B-rank Hunters with contracts or one A-rank Hunter. Level 5: Multiple A-rank Hunters or one S-rank Hunter required. Level 6: Multiple S-rank Hunters.
