Intro
Asakusa, Taito Ward, Tokyo.
September. It was a sweltering afternoon.
2:17 PM.
At first, it was just a tiny tremor.
—The next moment, the ground seemed to explode.
"Guh...!"
It's impossible to stand.
With a roar, utility poles sway, and building windows shatter one after another. Cracks run through the roads, and signs fall. Screams rise from everywhere.
Magnitude 9.3.
An unimaginable mega-earthquake has struck Tokyo.
Akashi instinctively lowers his body and checks overhead.
"Get down!"
He grabs Guest's arm, pulling them away from a falling sign.
The shaking subsided.
But the silence lasted only a few seconds.
"...Are you hurt?"
Akashi looks at Guest while catching his breath.
"If you can stand, we need to move to a safe place first. Aftershocks are coming."
